Home Exchange Agreement form

a) You complete the online FORM, supplying as much data as you can.

b) When you get the automatic email copy, forward this to your exchange partner by email if you know their email-address. Otherwise, copy/paste it into a normal webmail message, include your actual email address and request theirs for further last-minute correspondence.
Invite your Exchange Partner to do the same in reverse.

c) Exchange Partner completes the online FORM supplying as much data as possible, inserting the information you've supplied about yourself.

d) Exchange Partner forwards to you the automatic email copy they will have received.

e) Exchange Partner should forward this same copy to their HomeLink registrar/country (if not Canada).

We at HomeLink.CA receive automatic email copies, so members do not need to send us anything.

N.B. It is understood that both parties will hold valid current HomeLink memberships. For your personal reassurance, please exchange only with currently registered members.

posted online and printed in the directories.

Click on one of the active links : e.g., Word.doc format
The Exchange Agreement form is opened.
File download box opens : "Do you want to OPEN or SAVE this file?"
Select "Save"
Name : exagree.doc
Save in one of your file folders : i.e., create a HomeLink Form folder
File name : exagree.doc

Then launch your WORD program.
Open the file/document "exagree.doc".
Type in your details as necessary.
SAVE AS - File name : "Agreement with Smiths" ,
for example, in the folder you created.
EMAIL your exchange partner and attach the document.
For signature you can type in your name.

OR

Simply PRINT the document, enter your details
and MAIL it to your exchange partner.

Remember : always send a copy to HomeLink.CA.

send a copy to your partner, and make sure you also receive an Exchange Agreement Form from your
partner. Send a copy of both to the HomeLink office in your country.

I understand that the cancellation of an exchange, once a clear written agreement has been reached, is a
serious matter and may lead to my exclusion from any further participation in a HomeLink exchange.

It is understood by both parties that this exchange of homes for a holiday is a non-commercial arrangement.
It is not a loan of property, nor is it concerned with the giving or receiving of any type of benefit.
Each party to the exchange invites the other to occupy their home as a guest for the specific period.
